20 dollars 2 surf is a revenue share site. This means, that you are participating in certain activities (like watching ads, playing games etc.), and they sell the traffic you (and others) create to advertisers. Eventually they share a percentage of their revenue with us - the members. The size of our share is determined by how active we are, and how active our referrals are.
You can earn 10,000 points from surfing while the cash bar is active. You can earn more points (and sometimes cash prizes) by playing games and clicking on ads. The big money, though, is made by inviting friends to use the cash bar. You earn 10% of your referrals earnings on all levels. This means that you make at least 1000 points from each active referral (and if he gets bonus points you make more).
Let's have a look at the case in which you manage to get "only" 9 referrals and your referrals manage to get "only" 9 themselves.
In the table below you can see the first 7 levels: 9 on your first level, than 81 on your second (9 times 9) and so on for 7 levels. This happens once 9 of your referrals complete step 2 only! You earn 1000 points (minimum) per month per user. This is multiplied by the number of referrals (naturally).
Eventually, we get to calculate how much money you make. Each month, your points are converted to cash. This table is calculated based on a conversion rate of 0.01$ per 1000 points. Even with such a low rate, you make 53,808.39$ per month! Just so you'd understand the potential - last month the conversion rate was 0.1$ per 1000 points - 10 times more than what is calculated below!

This a a good point raised by many members. We decided to add it here (and to the FAQ) since we have a good answer. Here's the answer:
We, as professional online marketers, are making a lot of money on paid opportunities. In these opportunities, our downline pay 100-1000$/month. We make a nice 20-50% commission on each one, so we don't need much in order to earn a lot.
But how hard it is to get people to sign up to a 100-1000$/month payment opportunity?
Other paid opportunities are not so far from 20 dollars 2 surf. Let's take GDI, for instance. GDI is the oldest MLM on the internet. The monthly cost is 10$/month and you get paid 1$ per referral. Now - in order to earn 1$/month in 20 dollars 2 surf, you need 10 referrals.
Answer the following question: what is easier to achieve - 1 referral who pays 10$ monthly or 10 referrals who earn 1$/month just for surfing the web? See where we are heading? Instead of chasing people who will pay 10$ (or even 5$) monthly - you let people earn 1$ monthly. So it takes 10 times more people - but it is much easier. About 100 times easier...
The logic above makes this whole business much better than most paid opportunities. It might seem slower at first - but you have no upfront costs to cover, so what's the rush?
